Perception and Conception

Hello. I'm back with a new topic today.

''PERCEPTION and CONCEPTION''.

So what is this ?
Well, Perception is the root cause of a conflict , but this is not the only cause it is being partnered by something even more bad and that is - Miscommunication.

Perception is one's awareness of a situation through the senses , which affects his/her decision.
We often become a little selfish and fail to understand what the other has perceived or is aware of. Perception provides an overview of the situation or an idea and fails to give a detailed understanding, where as, 'conception' provides a detailed understanding .

There is a thin line, in between, what one has perceived and conceived. It is often the stage where a a gap is left and a conflict is brewed. The only possible way out of this situation is - Clear Communication.

Perceiving is just the surface, where as, conceptualising is reaching the sea bed. It is often observable that we react on situations just by having an overview of the sagacity. It is one of the main reasons why a conflict actually takes place.

Do I mean to say that a right perceived situation is where a conflict won't come up?
Yes, maybe , in most cases. The problem arises when we take a decision just by having an overview of the circumstance .
It is necessary to understand the scene before reaching to a conclusion  .

That is the reason why I said in the beginning itself, miscommunication is the fuel to fire for any given scenario.  The moment there's no hindrance in the pathway of communication, there is no reason for conflict to arise until and unless there is a difference of opinion . But a difference of opinion is always better than having a mis-perception of the whole damn ballgame.

It is quite often said that "conception is artificial , perception is real". Contradicting to what you just read?

Well, not entirely, to simplify it further more, its more like , 'first impression is the last impression.'
Perception is the first impression of any given condition , where as conception comes at a later stage.

So, Yes!
Perceiving something correctly is important, but whats more important is keeping an open mind for communication and considering others point of view.

Good Vibes
Shreya
